Job Context
    UEPSL is providing one stop Operation & Maintenance Services to its five power plants located at CEPZ, DEPZ, Ashuganj and Sylhet. The company is now looking for a capable, energetic and proactive individual to fill the position of `Plant Manager` for its power plant locations.
Job Description / Responsibility
  • Preparation, administration and control of annual budget.
  • Annual plant operation and maintenance plan.
  • Achieve high customer satisfaction and revenue earning.
  • Implement preventive and corrective action as necessary.
  • Manage activities at the plant to generate maximum practical revenue at the lowest operating cost consistent with high reliability.
  • Enhance conformance to ISO procedures & policies.
  • Standardizing and simplification of work processes for more efficient/error free performance
  • Lead and groom a highly motivated team for optimization of the plant’s operations and resources.
  • Innovate, improvise, formulate and implement new concepts & techniques.
  • Demonstrate facilitation and collaboration skills.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental, health and safety policies, laws and regulations.
Job Nature

Educational Requirements
    B.Sc Engineering in Electrical / Mechanical (from public-reputed University) / MEO Class-1.
Experience Requirements
  • At least 10 year(s)
Job Requirements
  • Age 40 to 50 year(s)
  • Marine Chief Engineer with experience in power plant(s) will be given preference.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in relevant area preferably with power plants.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in leadership role.
  • Experience in Wartsila / Roll-Royce / MWM Engines will be preferred.
  • Sound knowledge on power plant equipment’s, substation and switchgear system.
