Dear members:

Please read through a notice sent by our General Secretary that describes membership categories, especially about your right to vote in the upcoming election for the office bearers. In order to qualify for voting, you must be a paid member.

I would urge all overseas members to register by paying as soon as possible. Please communicate with the following individuals to commit to paying your dues. This will qualify you as a voter.

Collections within Bangladesh will be handled by our Bangladesh chapter.

The election of the office bearers will take place via electronic voting. We expect the voting to take place at the end of February. The election commission will determine the date and procedures for the voting.

The election commission:

Capt. Mohiuddin Quadiry, Chief election commissioner, Capt. Feroz Mostafa- Election commissioner 1 and C/E Obayed Bashir Election commissioner 2.

I would like to see all alumni elect to become registered members so you can vote in this election. Please take the matter seriously and make arrangements to make payments through the above individuals asap. I would urge all overseas members to add a few extra dollars/pounds to show your strong support to the association. My suggestion for payments is:

Registered/voting member: USD 30.00  GBP 25.00

Life member: USD 250.00 GBP 200.00

Please use equivalent figures for other jurisdictions.

Most importantly, it is your participation that is very important. We would like to see you getting involved in the BMA affairs. This is your academy, and you should participate in the alumni matters actively.
