Bangladesh Marine Academy Chattogram passing out 54th batch

Mujib Borsho graduation ceremony of the 54th batch was held at the Bangladesh Marine Academy campus, Juldia, Chattogram on Wednesday, 29th January. The Education Minister Honourable Dr. Dipu Moni was the Chief Guest. She was flanked by several special guests; the State Minister of Shipping Mr. Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, the Minister of Land Mr. Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, the Deputy Minister of Education Mr. Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury and the Senior Secretary of Shipping Mr. Mohammed Abdus Samad.

The Bangladesh Marine Academy Chattogram has also been recognized as one of the branches of the World Maritime University (WMU), Malmö, Sweden in 1989 for its academic excellence, good training, quality marine manpower production and overall performance. It is a unique institution, second to none in the Indian Sub-Continent, if not the world. Established in 1962, BMA has produced thousands of distinguished mariners of topmost professionalism, earning valuable foreign currency for our nation.

We look forward to the latest batch dispersing all over the world aboard the merchant ships. They will bring glory and pride to our nation and the upcoming junior batches will look up to them for guidance and source of inspiration.
