Squally weather is likely to affect the maritime ports, North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of the country as steep pressure gradient persist over the North Bay.

Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payrahave been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal no three, said a Met office bulletin.

All fishing boats and trawlers over the North Bay have been advisedto remain close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice.
